Remind them about me.

It didn't really hit me until I walked onto the field.

I am living my dream.

While bouncing about, I grabbed a co-worker and asked him to take a photo. I didn't tell him why my smile was so big.

But can I tell you a story?

My little brother (who is in heaven) has a middle name - Solanus. Not too long ago, I realized he had been praying for me, for my family, and I was really grateful because I could see his little brother hands in little things in my life.

When they ask you about miracles - remind them about me.

I switched jobs in August. Two months prior, I had the privilege of being present when they announced that Fr. Solanus was going to be beatified.

Then, last month, we were sitting around at a meeting and my boss pointed at me and said "We'll probably have you take photos."

At mass the Friday before the beatification, I cried because God is so good.

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a photographer, standing in stadiums, taking photos. As I grew, I wanted to give back to the Church for the way the Church had rescued me.

When they ask you if dreams come true - remind them about me.

When I got my field pass, I looked at it in my hands and I wondered what I did. What did I do?

On Saturday, my little brother's namesake got closer to becoming a saint, and I stood in the stadium, taking photos for my Church, my Church that saved me. During the Cardinal's homily, I started to cry, looking around. 60,000 people and for some reason, the Lord saw fit to put me on the floor, looking directly ahead at the altar.

When they ask you about the saints intercession - remind them about me.
When they tell you there is no hope - remind them about me.
When they ask you for proof - remind them about me.

Blessed Solanus Casey, pray for us.
